About Our Minister of Music
David L. Christopher was born in Nashville, Tennessee.  He attended Turner Elementary School, Donelson Elementary School and Donelson High School, graduating in1964 as the first and probably only Major in Academic Studies and Music.  He was a member of both the Nashville All-Star Chorus and the Tennessee All-State Chorus during High School.

He graduated from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Music Degree in 1970.  He has served churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama for over 40 years as Minister of Music.

David has extensive background in instrumental music (Trumpet), Choral Music as Conductor and Clinician.  He has led music for worship services at conventions and services in Savannah, Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis, Nashville and even in Hawaii.

He has also sung with many choral groups including Carson-Newman A Capella Choir, the Knoxville Symphony, the Tennessee Singing Men, The Alabama Singing Men, and Choir Cullman.  He has also worked in the recording studios in Nashville and Birmingham as singer and instrumentalist.

He has been involved in the community as a member of the Cullman Lions Club and has served as President of the Breakfast Kiwanis Club.  He has been Community Affairs Director and Sports Director for WKUL-FM Radio.

He is married to the former Donna Chaney of Cullman.  They have three children and three grandchildren.
